  This 'school' promotes 'tool purchase' as a perk of paying them to teach you how to repair bicycles... I signed up for the 'advanced certification seminar' which includes a suspension maintainance certification so I could brush up but mostly because I wanted to tool up for suspension, the only bicycle tools I don't already have. I started asking questions before start date to make sure I got what I wanted out of this class. Turns out they keep the 'UBI Suspension Tool List' secret because you can't buy those tools. I pushed an instructor to give me the list and then realized after talking to staff and eventually the owner. They will teach you how to use tools they cannot get or sell to you. If I had traveled to Oregon to find this out I would have wasted a lot of money so I think you all should know, also if you want the 'secret tool list' let me know.
